Serenade PackEdit

The Serenade Pack specializes in hunting for small game in aquatic environments. Their primary food source are the birds and fish in the warmer months and in the colder months they suffer a bit hunting larger game that inhabit their territory. Often times, the pack can be seen feeding on rotting carcasses from neighboring packs or animals that simply could not survive through the harsh conditions of winter and have died off. Life for the Serenade pack is rather difficult in the winter and prey is plentiful in the spring and summer, especially if it has been a wet season. They can hunt for elk and other larger game, but they are more adapted to hunting smaller prey like the ones listed below.

Bushes are a common occurrence in the Serenade Packs territory, found along the the river that surrounds and cuts through their territory, some of them bearing fruit. As wolves, they are not picky eaters and happily gorge themselves on the plentiful berries in the warmer months of the year.

These wolves tend to hunt alone, rather than hunting with the pack in spring and summer. During fall and winter most of the water fowl they depend on have flown south for the winter and are forced to hunt larger game together in stead of solo hunts. They grow hungry quite a bit in winter, but still manage to feed themselves during this time, it is not unheard of for some wolves to die off of starvation or simply leave the pack due to the lack of food. There are also much tension building up during this time, not just because of the breeding season, but lack of sustenance. The alphas of the pack are put in a very tough spot, feed themselves or feed the pack.

As you can see the pack normally feeds on fish and hunt down small games listed above because of this these wolves have grown specially adapted to their habitat over time. These wolves are:

  • Leaner than their neighboring packs, this is because of their diet of fish, birds, and various amphibians and reptiles. Because of their leaner figure and lighter wieght they are quicker than packs like Majestes, Shamans, and the Oblivion pack, but their speed does not match that like the Espionage pack.
  • The Serenades stand taller than other wolves, their long legs helping them stand in tall waters to fish for prey like Brook Trout, Mountain Whitefish, and other various species of fish.
  • The also have longer snouts than their counterparts to help them with fishing.
  • Waterproof
